About The Workshop

In a world of uncertainty and chaos,  a society facing large scale trauma and grief leads to heightened stress and mental vulnerability. Constant, uncontrollable, intrusive irrational negative thoughts cause elevated levels of distress making us feel out of control of our own lives.

When left unattended, they cause deep frustration, worry and anxiety to develop, often leading to depression and other forms of mental illness. It is therefore vital to upskill ourselves in understanding and managing our detrimental thought patterns to build resilience and also to prevent and treat mental illness.

We have specially prepared this workshop to give you an insight into the reasons for these negative, spiralling thought patterns and discuss D.I.Y. (Do-It-Yourself) strategies and techniques that you and your family members can practice at home or at work.
